YouTube Videos
Since there is a YouTube video on this page, this is a good time to talk about YouTube. CulinaryLore.com has a YouTube channel. If you visit our YouTube channel or you watch our videos on the YouTube website, your privacy options, of course, are the domain of YouTube. However, we also embed the videos on some of the individual pages here on the site. When you visit these pages, YouTube will place a cookie in your browser. I am working to ensure that all the videos embedded on this site, including the one on this page, are embedded using the privacy-enhanced mode. This means that YouTube will NOT place a cookie on your browser just because you visit a page on this site which has a YouTube video on it. However, if you play the video, a cookie will be placed on your browser by YouTube. When this is done, this message will change to reflect that all the videos have been changed to enhanced privacy. Meanwhile, the cookes are used in the same ways that cookies served on the YouTube site are used. To track your preferences and to serve advertising. The video presentations add a tremendous value to the information given on this site but I do NOT think it is necessary for YouTube to place a cookie in your browser if you do not play the video. However, at this time, I cannot guarantee this will not happen and we cannot control the cookies that YouTube places as a result of visiting the pages or playing the videos. Google owns YouTube and their privacy policies also cover YouTube. You can also view your YouTube privacy options.
